General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-09289) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human ZNF443, targeting the amino acid region 1–351 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human ZNF443 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. ZNF443 (Zinc Finger Protein 443) is a member of the C2H2-type zinc finger protein family, which typically functions as a sequence-specific DNA-binding transcription factor. It is localized primarily in the nucleus and is thought to regulate gene expression by binding to promoter or enhancer regions of target genes. Like many KRAB-associated zinc finger proteins, ZNF443 is presumed to participate in transcriptional repression through recruitment of corepressor complexes such as KAP1/TRIM28 and associated chromatin-modifying enzymes, leading to heterochromatin formation. Although the precise biological functions of ZNF443 remain incompletely characterized, zinc finger proteins of this class are generally involved in controlling developmental gene programs, cell differentiation, and maintenance of genomic stability. Emerging evidence from related family members suggests potential roles in epigenetic regulation and disease processes such as cancer, but specific mechanistic insights for ZNF443 are still limited.
DPABH-09289 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application.
DPABH-09289 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
