This product (Catalog No. DPABH-04154) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human Zfp281. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Zfp281 from rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Transcription repressor that plays a role in regulation of embryonic stem cells (ESCs) differentiation. Required for ESCs differentiation and acts by mediating autorepression of NANOG in ESCs: binds to the NANOG promoter and promotes association of NANOG protein to its own promoter and recruits the NuRD complex, which deacetylates histones. Not required for establishement and maintenance of ESCs (By similarity). Represses the transcription of a number of genes including GAST, ODC1 and VIM. Binds to the G-rich box in the enhancer region of these genes.
DPABH-04154 is suitable for use in WB 1 (500-1:2000), IHC 1 (50-1:200) applications.
DPABH-04154 is supplied as a liquid formulation in Phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
