General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-13067) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human ZNF232, targeting the amino acid region 95–445 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human ZNF232 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. ZNF232 (Zinc Finger Protein 232) is a member of the C2H2-type zinc finger transcription factor family that is primarily involved in sequence-specific DNA binding and transcriptional regulation. It is localized in the nucleus and is thought to function mainly as a transcriptional repressor by recruiting chromatin-modifying corepressor complexes, such as KAP1/TRIM28 and histone deacetylases, thereby promoting heterochromatin formation and gene silencing. ZNF232 is implicated in the regulation of developmental gene expression programs, cell differentiation, and maintenance of genomic stability, consistent with the broader roles of KRAB-associated zinc finger proteins. Although its specific target genes and biological pathways remain incompletely characterized, emerging studies suggest potential involvement in cellular proliferation and disease-related transcriptional dysregulation, including cancer. Overall, ZNF232 is considered a transcriptional regulator with likely epigenetic functions, but its precise molecular mechanisms require further experimental validation.
DPABH-13067 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:200–1:1,000) application.
DPABH-13067 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
