General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-17576) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human ZCCHC12, targeting the amino acid region 154–402 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human ZCCHC12 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Zinc finger CCHC domain-containing protein 12 (ZCCHC12) functions as a transcriptional coactivator in the bone morphogenetic protein (BMP)-signaling pathway (PMID: 19578717; 19416967). It positively modulates BMP signaling by interacting with SMAD1 and associating with CBP in the transcription complex (PMID: 18160706). It contributes to the BMP-induced enhancement of cholinergic-neuron-specific gene expression. A variant in ZCCHC12 may play a role in X-linked cognitive disability (PMID: 18798319). DPABH-17576 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:6,000) application. DPABH-17576 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
