General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-16660) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human YWHAZ, targeting the amino acid region 1–245 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human YWHAZ from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. YWHAZ (also known as 14-3-3 zeta) is a member of 14-3-3 proteins which were the first phosphoserine/phosphothreonine-binding proteins to be discovered. 14-3-3 family members interact with a wide spectrum of proteins and possess diverse functions. Mammals express seven distinct 14-3-3 isoforms (gamma, epsilon, beta, zeta, sigma, theta, tau) that form multiple homo- and hetero- dimmers. 14-3-3 proteins display the highest expression levels in the brain, and have been implicated in several neurodegenerative diseases, including Alzheimer's disease and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
DPABH-16660 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:8,000), IHC (1:400–1:1,600) applications.
DPABH-16660 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
