General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-17141) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human WNT10B, targeting the amino acid region 30–322 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human WNT10B from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. WNT10B is a gene that encodes the Wnt10b protein, a secreted glycoprotein belonging to the Wnt ligand family, which plays a pivotal role in activating the canonical Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway to regulate embryonic development, tissue homeostasis, and cellular processes such as proliferation, differentiation, and migration. Located on human chromosome 12q13, the WNT10B gene produces a 389-amino-acid protein featuring a signal peptide for secretion, conserved cysteine residues for structural stability, and a palmitoylation site that facilitates membrane association, sharing high sequence homology with WNT10A. Wnt10b binds to Frizzled (FZD) receptors (particularly FZD3, FZD4, FZD5, FZD6, FZD7, FZD8, and FZD9) and co-receptors like LRP5/6, leading to the stabilization and nuclear translocation of β-catenin, which then activates target genes including MYC, CCND1, and AXIN2 to influence cell fate decisions. While primarily canonical, Wnt10b can engage non-canonical pathways in specific contexts, such as RAC1 activation and RHOA inhibition in placental and corneal cells, or mTOR/S6K signaling in axonal regeneration.
DPABH-17141 is suitable for use in ELISA (1:4,000–1:8,000), IHC (1:50–1:100), Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000) applications.
DPABH-17141 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M PBS, pH 7.4, 50% Glycerol, 0.05% Proclin 300. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
