This product (Catalog No. DPABH-22862) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human VMO1, targeting the amino acid region 25–202 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human VMO1 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Vitelline membrane outer layer protein I (VMO-I) is a structural protein isolated from the outer layer of the vitelline membrane surrounding hen eggs, where it contributes to the membrane's integrity by binding tightly to ovomucin fibrils alongside lysozyme and VMO-II. It has an apparent molecular mass of 17.5 kDa and is synthesized in a restricted region of the hen oviduct, specifically the junction between the infundibulum and magnum. DPABH-22862 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:1,000), IHC (1:20–1:200), IF/ICC (1:20–1:200) applications. DPABH-22862 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
