This product (Catalog No. DPABH-12239) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human VAPA, targeting the amino acid region 101–200 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with VAPA from mouse, rat, dog, cow, and rabbit. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. The protein encoded by this gene is a type IV membrane protein. It is present in the plasma membrane and intracellular vesicles. It may also be associated with the cytoskeleton. This protein may function in vesicle trafficking, membrane fusion, protein complex assembly and cell motility. Alternative splicing occurs at this locus and two transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified.
DPABH-12239 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application.
DPABH-12239 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
