This product (Catalog No. DPABH-05338) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human UBE2M, targeting the amino acid region 1–100 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with UBE2M from mouse, rat, cow, horse, and xenopuslaevis. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. The modification of proteins with ubiquitin is an important cellular mechanism for targeting abnormal or short-lived proteins for degradation. Ubiquitination involves at least three classes of enzymes: ubiquitin-activating enzymes, or E1s, ubiquitin-conjugating enzymes, or E2s, and ubiquitin-protein ligases, or E3s. This gene encodes a member of the E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme family. The encoded protein is linked with a ubiquitin-like protein, NEDD8, which can be conjugated to cellular proteins, such as Cdc53/culin.
DPABH-05338 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application.
DPABH-05338 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
