General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-05333) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human TYROBP, targeting the amino acid region 1–113 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. TYROBP, also known as DAP12 or KARAP, is a transmembrane protein consisting of a very small extracellular region, a transmembrane domain containing an aspartic acid residue critical for association with its partner subunits, and an intracellular domain with a single immunoreceptor tyrosine-based activation motif (ITAM) (PMID: 11114420). It is expressed as a disulfide-bonded homodimer on natural killer cells, myeloid cells and a subset of T cells (PMID: 11114420). TYROBP acts as a signaling adaptor that provides signaling function via the Syk and ZAP-70 tyrosine kinase activation pathways (PMID: 15895090). The gene of TYROBP is located on the long arm of chromosome 19 at position 13.1. Multiple alternative transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified for this gene. DPABH-05333 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:1,000) application. DPABH-05333 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
