This product (Catalog No. DPABH-01364) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human TYK2, targeting the amino acid region 901–1187 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human TYK2 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes a member of the tyrosine kinase and, more specifically, the Janus kinases (JAKs) protein families. This protein associates with the cytoplasmic domain of type I and type II cytokine receptors and promulgate cytokine signals by phosphorylating receptor subunits. It is also component of both the type I and type III interferon signaling pathways. As such, it may play a role in anti-viral immunity. A mutation in this gene has been associated with hyperimmunoglobulin E syndrome (HIES) - a primary immunodeficiency characterized by elevated serum immunoglobulin E. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008].
DPABH-01364 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:1,000), IHC (1:50–1:500), IF/ICC (1:50–1:500) applications.
DPABH-01364 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
