General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-27658) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human TUFT1, targeting the amino acid region 1–365 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Tuftelin is an acidic phosphorylated glycoprotein primarily found in the extracellular matrix of developing and mature tooth enamel, the highly mineralized tissue covering vertebrate teeth. Encoded by the human TUFT1 gene located on chromosome 1q21.3, tuftelin is expressed during amelogenesis, the process of enamel formation by ameloblasts, where it is a minor component of the protein content in immature enamel. This protein is thought to facilitate enamel mineralization by interacting with hydroxyapatite crystals and other enamel matrix components, such as amelogenin, thereby supporting the structural integrity and hardness of enamel.
DPABH-27658 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC (1:50–1:500), IF/ICC (1:20–1:200) applications.
DPABH-27658 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
