This product (Catalog No. DPABH-05081) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human TUBB2A. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with TUBB2A from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Microtubules, key participants in processes such as mitosis and intracellular transport, are composed of heterodimers of alpha- and beta-tubulins. The protein encoded by this gene is a beta-tubulin. Defects in this gene are associated with complex cortical dysplasia with other brain malformations-5. Two transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been found for this gene. DPABH-05081 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC (1:50–1:300) applications. DPABH-05081 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
