This product (Catalog No. DPABH-16729) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human TUBB. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes a beta tubulin protein. This protein forms a dimer with alpha tubulin and acts as a structural component of microtubules. Mutations in this gene cause cortical dysplasia, complex, with other brain malformations 6. Alternative splicing results in multiple splice variants. There are multiple pseudogenes for this gene on chromosomes 1, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 13.
DPABH-16729 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:200–1:1,000), IHC (1:20–1:100) applications.
DPABH-16729 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
