This product (Catalog No. DPABH-03547) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human TRHR, targeting the amino acid region 310–398 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human TRHR from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. TRHR is a Gq-coupled neuroendocrine GPCR that mediates the actions of thyrotropin-releasing hormone in the anterior pituitary and brain. By activating PLC-Ca²⁺ signaling, TRHR controls TSH secretion, regulates thyroid hormone output, and influences metabolic rate and neuroendocrine behavior. Genetic or functional disruption of TRHR leads to central hypothyroidism and broader metabolic and neurological consequences, highlighting its essential role in HPT axis regulation.
DPABH-03547 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:3,000) application.
