This product (Catalog No. DPABH-22844) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human TMEM97. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. TMEM97 (Transmembrane protein 97), also known as the Sigma-2 receptor (Sigma 2R) or MAC30, is an integral membrane protein located primarily in the endoplasmic reticulum. It is critical for regulating cellular cholesterol homeostasis by interacting with NPC1 and LDLR. TMEM97 is often overexpressed in cancers (breast, colon, gastric) and is used as a biomarker for tumor proliferation. DPABH-22844 is suitable for use in IHC (1:20–1:100) application. DPABH-22844 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
