General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-15664) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human TMEM260, targeting the amino acid region 512–707 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. TMEM260 is a protein-coding gene located on human chromosome 14q22.3 that encodes a multi-transmembrane protein functioning as an endoplasmic reticulum (ER)-localized O-mannosyltransferase. This enzyme catalyzes the transfer of mannose from dolichyl-phosphate-mannose to the hydroxyl groups of serine or threonine residues on target proteins, particularly those containing immunoglobulin-like domains, as a key step in O-mannosylation during protein maturation and folding in the ER. The TMEM260 protein, also known as C14orf101, consists of 707 amino acids and features multiple transmembrane domains, enabling its localization and activity within the ER membrane. DPABH-15664 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application. DPABH-15664 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
