General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-14782) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human TMEM200C, targeting the amino acid region 385–621 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human TMEM200C from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. TMEM200C (Transmembrane Protein 200C) is a multi-pass transmembrane protein with limited functional characterization in current biological research. It is predicted to localize to cellular membranes, where it may participate in membrane-associated processes such as cell signaling, receptor regulation, or structural organization of membrane protein complexes. Like other members of the TMEM200 family, TMEM200C lacks well-defined enzymatic domains, suggesting a role as a structural or regulatory component rather than a catalytic enzyme. Expression data indicate that it is present across multiple tissues, although its tissue-specific functions remain unclear. At present, there is no well-established biochemical pathway or disease association linked to TMEM200C, and its biological role is primarily inferred from sequence conservation and computational predictions.
DPABH-14782 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:8,000), IHC (1:50–1:500) applications.
DPABH-14782 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
