General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-12464) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human TMEM190, targeting the amino acid region 22–160 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. TMEM190 (Transmembrane Protein 190) is a multi-pass membrane protein with limited functional characterization in current biological literature. It is predicted to localize to cellular membranes, where it may participate in membrane-associated processes such as signaling, transport, or organization of protein complexes. Like many members of the TMEM family, TMEM190 lacks well-defined enzymatic domains, suggesting a role as a structural or regulatory component rather than a catalytic enzyme. Expression data indicate that it may show tissue-restricted expression patterns, potentially including specialized cell types such as germ cells, although its exact expression profile and physiological function remain incompletely defined. At present, there is no well-established biochemical pathway or disease association directly linked to TMEM190, and its biological role is primarily inferred from sequence analysis and computational predictions.
DPABH-12464 is suitable for use in IHC (1:20–1:200) application.
DPABH-12464 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
