General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-29412) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human TFAP2E, targeting the amino acid region 58–219 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human TFAP2E from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Sequence-specific DNA-binding protein that interacts with inducible viral and cellular enhancer elements to regulate transcription of selected genes. AP-2 factors bind to the consensus sequence 5-GCCNNNGGC-3 and activate genes involved in a large spectrum of important biological functions including proper eye, face, body wall, limb and neural tube development. They also suppress a number of genes including MCAM/MUC18, C/EBP alpha and MYC. AP-2-epsilon may play a role in the development of the CNS and in cartilage differentiation.
DPABH-29412 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:1,000), IHC (1:50–1:500), IF/ICC (1:50–1:500) applications.
DPABH-29412 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
