General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-14864) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human C13orf27, targeting the amino acid region 1–186 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human C13orf27 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. TEX30 (Testis Expressed 30) is a protein-coding gene that belongs to the testis-expressed gene family and is predominantly associated with reproductive biology. It encodes a protein with limited functional characterization, but its expression profile suggests enrichment in testicular tissue, indicating a potential role in spermatogenesis or male germ cell development. Proteins in the TEX family are often implicated in processes such as meiosis, chromatin remodeling, germ cell differentiation, and sperm maturation, although the precise molecular function of TEX30 remains unclear. It is thought to act as a regulatory or accessory factor in germ cell–specific gene expression programs rather than a catalytic enzyme. Overall, TEX30 is considered a poorly characterized, testis-enriched protein, with its biological roles largely inferred from expression patterns and homology to other reproductive system–associated proteins.
DPABH-14864 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:3,000) application.
DPABH-14864 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
