This product (Catalog No. DPABH-28841) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human TEX11. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. TEX11 (testis expressed 11) is an X-linked gene located at chromosomal position Xq13.1 that encodes a 947-amino-acid protein specifically expressed in male germ cells, functioning as a key regulator of meiosis by promoting chromosome synapsis, recombination, and crossover formation. The protein localizes to the central element of the synaptonemal complex during pachytene-stage spermatocytes and interacts with components like SYCP2 and TEX12 to ensure proper assembly of meiotic structures, with homology to the yeast SPO22/ZIP4 protein that links double-strand break repair to synaptonemal complex formation. DPABH-28841 is suitable for use in IHC (1:50–1:300) application. DPABH-28841 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
