This product (Catalog No. DPABH-24464) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human TESK1. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with TESK1 from rat. It has been affinity purified by protein A. This gene product is a serine/threonine protein kinase that contains an N-terminal protein kinase domain and a C-terminal proline-rich domain. Its protein kinase domain is most closely related to those of the LIM motif-containing protein kinases (LIMKs). The encoded protein can phosphorylate myelin basic protein and histone in vitro. The testicular germ cell-specific expression and developmental pattern of expression of the mouse gene suggests that this gene plays an important role at and after the meiotic phase of spermatogenesis. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
DPABH-24464 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:3,000) application.
DPABH-24464 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
