General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-08647) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human TDRD5, targeting the amino acid region 1–350 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human TDRD5 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. TDRD5, also named as Tudor domain-containing protein 5, is a 981 amino acid protein, which contains one Tudor domain and three HTH OST-type domains. TDRD5 localizes in the cytiplasm and belongs to the TDRD5 family. TDRD5 is required during spermiogenesis to participate in the repression transposable elements and prevent their mobilization, which is essential for the germline integrity.
DPABH-08647 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:200–1:1,000), IP (0.5-4.0 μg for 1.0-3.0 mg of total protein lysate), IHC (1:50–1:500) applications.
DPABH-08647 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
