General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-03986) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human TBL2. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with TBL2 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. TBL2 (Transducin Beta Like 2) is a human protein-coding gene that encodes a protein containing WD40 repeat domains, which are typically involved in mediating protein–protein interactions and assembling multi-protein complexes. TBL2 is thought to function as a scaffolding or regulatory protein that participates in intracellular signaling pathways and protein complex organization. TBL2 is located in a genomic region on chromosome 7 that is associated with the Williams–Beuren syndrome (WBS) critical region, and it may contribute to aspects of the molecular phenotype observed in this deletion syndrome. While its precise biological functions are not fully defined, TBL2 has been implicated in processes related to signal transduction, transcriptional regulation, and cellular homeostasis, often through interactions with other proteins rather than enzymatic activity. Further research is needed to clarify its specific roles in normal physiology and disease contexts.
DPABH-03986 is suitable for use in WB 1 (1000), IF/ICC 1 (100-1:500), IHC 1 (50-1:200) applications.
DPABH-03986 is supplied as a liquid formulation in Phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
