General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-18683) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human TADA2A, targeting the amino acid region 1–443 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. TADA2L, an alias for the official gene symbol TADA2A, encodes the protein transcriptional adaptor 2A (also known as ADA2A or hADA2), a key component of multiprotein complexes involved in regulating RNA polymerase II-mediated gene transcription in humans. This protein acts as an adaptor that bridges DNA-binding transcriptional activators and the basal transcription machinery, enhancing the initiation rate of transcription by interacting with general transcription factors. Encoded by a gene located on chromosome 17q12, TADA2A spans approximately 73 kb and produces multiple alternatively spliced isoforms, though the full-length nature of some variants remains undetermined.
DPABH-18683 is suitable for use in ELISA (1:4,000–1:8,000), IHC (1:50–1:100), Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000) applications.
DPABH-18683 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M PBS, pH 7.4, 50% Glycerol, 0.05% Proclin 300. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
