This product (Catalog No. DPABH-01045) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human SCN2B, targeting the amino acid region 65–180 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with SCN2B from mouse, rat, dog, pig, cow, rabbit, and sheep. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. The protein encoded by this gene is the beta 2 subunit of the type II voltage-gated sodium channel. The encoded protein is involved in cell-cell adhesion and cell migration. Defects in this gene can be a cause of Brugada Syndrome, atrial fibrillation, or sudden infant death syndrome.
DPABH-01045 is suitable for use in IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500), ICC/IF (1:100–1:500), ELISA (1:5,000–1:10,000) applications.
DPABH-01045 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
