General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CPBT-35134RS) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against saccharomyces cerevisiae HHO1, targeting the amino acid region 4–80 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with HHO1 from yeast. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. HHO1 (YPL127C) is the gene encoding the sole linker histone (H1) in the budding yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae, which plays a role in chromatin structure regulation, sporulation, and DNA repair. Unlike higher eukaryotes, yeast cells lacking Hho1p are generally healthy but exhibit specific, subtle, or localized chromatin defects rather than major structural failures.
CPBT-35134RS is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500), ICC/IF (1:100–1:500), ELISA (1:5,000–1:10,000) applications.
CPBT-35134RS is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
