This product (Catalog No. DPABH-05605) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human SYT16. It has been affinity purified by protein A. SYT16 (Synaptotagmin 16), also known as Strep14, is a protein-coding gene located on human chromosome 14q23.1 that encodes a member of the synaptotagmin family involved in vesicle trafficking and exocytosis. Unlike typical calcium-dependent synaptotagmins, SYT16 acts in a Ca2+-independent manner to manage membrane trafficking in non-neuronal tissues. It is frequently studied as a prognostic biomarker for various cancers, including low-grade glioma. DPABH-05605 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:3,000) application. DPABH-05605 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
