General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-18281) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human SULT2B1, targeting the amino acid region 111–210 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with SULT2B1 from mouse and dog. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Sulfotransferase enzymes catalyze the sulfate conjugation of many hormones, neurotransmitters, drugs, and xenobiotic compounds. These cytosolic enzymes are different in their tissue distributions and substrate specificities. The gene structure (number and length of exons) is similar among family members. This gene sulfates dehydroepiandrosterone but not 4-nitrophenol, a typical substrate for the phenol and estrogen sulfotransferase subfamilies. Two alternatively spliced variants that encode different isoforms have been described.
DPABH-18281 is suitable for use in IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500), ICC/IF (1:100–1:500), ELISA (1:5,000–1:10,000) applications.
DPABH-18281 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
