This product (Catalog No. DPABH-04837) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human SULT1A1. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with SULT1A1 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Sulfotransferase enzymes catalyze the sulfate conjugation of many hormones, neurotransmitters, drugs, and xenobiotic compounds. These cytosolic enzymes are different in their tissue distributions and substrate specificities. The gene structure (number and length of exons) is similar among family members. This gene encodes one of two phenol sulfotransferases with thermostable enzyme activity. Multiple alternatively spliced variants that encode two isoforms have been identified for this gene. DPABH-04837 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application. DPABH-04837 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide,50% glycerol,pH7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
