This product (Catalog No. DPABH-04893) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human ST8SIA2. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with ST8SIA2 from mouse, rat, and monkey. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. May transfer sialic acid through alpha-2,8-linkages to the alpha-2,3-linked and alpha-2,6-linked sialic acid of N-linked oligosaccharides of glycoproteins and may be involved in PSA (polysialic acid) expression. DPABH-04893 is suitable for use in WB 1 (500-1:2000) application. DPABH-04893 is supplied as a liquid formulation in Phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
