This product (Catalog No. DPABH-18832) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human ST3GAL4. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with ST3GAL4 from rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes a member of the glycosyltransferase 29 family, a group of enzymes involved in protein glycosylation. The encoded protein is targeted to Golgi membranes but may be proteolytically processed and secreted. The gene product may also be involved in the increased expression of sialyl Lewis X antigen seen in inflammatory responses. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. DPABH-18832 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application. DPABH-18832 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide,50% glycerol,pH7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
