General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-22305) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human SRMS, targeting the amino acid region 418–488 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Tyrosine-protein kinase SRMS (Src-related kinase lacking C-terminal regulatory tyrosine and N-terminal myristoylation sites) is a non-receptor tyrosine kinase that belongs to the Src family–related group of kinases. Unlike classical Src family members, SRMS lacks the N-terminal myristoylation signal and the conserved C-terminal regulatory tyrosine, resulting in distinct intracellular localization and regulatory properties. It is primarily found in the cytoplasm and functions by phosphorylating specific substrate proteins to modulate signaling pathways involved in cell proliferation, differentiation, and survival. SRMS has been implicated in epithelial cell signaling, cytoskeletal organization, and stress-response pathways. Emerging evidence also suggests a role in cancer biology, where altered SRMS activity may influence tumor growth and signaling networks, although its full range of substrates and physiological functions remains incompletely characterized.
DPABH-22305 is suitable for use in IP (0.5-4.0 μg for 1.0-3.0 mg of total protein lysate), IHC (1:100–1:400) applications.
DPABH-22305 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
