General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-02028) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human SPCS3, targeting the amino acid region 1–180 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human SPCS3 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. The microsomal signal peptidase complex (SPC), which is an essential membrane component in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER), has five subunits, including SEC11A, SEC11C, SPCS1, SPCS2, and SPCS3. Functionally, SPC removes signal peptides (SPs) from a series of secretory pre-proteins with high specificity. The dysregulation of the other SPC subunits was also observed in some tumors. SPCS3 expression can be used as a component of a risk score model to predict the survival of patients with pancreatic adenocarcinoma. (PMID: 35653344).
DPABH-02028 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000), IHC (1:50–1:500) applications.
DPABH-02028 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
