General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-09744) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human SPATA2, targeting the amino acid region 330–520 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human SPATA2 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. The protein SPATA2 (spermatogenesis-associated protein 2) was initially shown to be highly expressed in testicular Sertoli cells, and these early reports suggested SPATA2 to play a role in spermatogenesis. More recently, it was discussed to be involved in the predisposition for psoriasis. SPATA2 is required for TNF-induced cell death. SPATA2 has a potential role during pancreatic development and β-cell proliferation.(PMID: 20119533/PMID: 27458237). DPABH-09744 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB), IHC, IF/ICC, Indirect ELISA applications. DPABH-09744 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS only, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
