This product (Catalog No. DPABH-04952) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human SPATA16. It has been affinity purified by protein A. SPATA16 (Spermatogenesis-associated protein 16), or NYD-SP12, is a crucial gene located on chromosome 3q26, highly expressed in the human testis, that plays a vital role in sperm acrosome formation. Mutations in this gene are associated with globozoospermia, a rare form of male infertility characterized by round-headed, acrosomeless sperm, which prevents fertilization.
DPABH-04952 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:200–1:1,000), IHC (1:15–1:50) applications.
DPABH-04952 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
