General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-26864) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human SPAG7, targeting the amino acid region 1–227 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human SPAG7 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. SPAG7 encodes the sperm-associated antigen 7, which is widely expressed. The SPAG7 protein contains two nuclear localisation signals and a R3H domain. The domain is predicted to bind ssDNA or ssRNA in a sequence-specific manner. This might indicate a potential role of the protein in response to viruses or free DNAs or RNAs. DPABH-26864 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC (1:20–1:200) applications. DPABH-26864 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
