This product (Catalog No. DPABH-25892) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human SOX9. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. The protein encoded by this gene recognizes the sequence CCTTGAG along with other members of the HMG-box class DNA-binding proteins. It acts during chondrocyte differentiation and, with steroidogenic factor 1, regulates transcription of the anti-Muellerian hormone (AMH) gene. Deficiencies lead to the skeletal malformation syndrome campomelic dysplasia, frequently with sex reversal. DPABH-25892 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:200–1:1,000), IHC (1:10–1:50) applications. DPABH-25892 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
