This product (Catalog No. DPABH-14089) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human SMCR7, targeting the amino acid region 283–454 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human SMCR7 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. SMCR7, also named as MID49, is a 49 kDa mitochondrial outer membrane protein which regulates mitochondrial morphology. SMCR7 can directly recruit the fission mediator dynamin-related protein 1 (DNM1L) to the mitochondrial surface. SMCR7 has two isoforms. DPABH-14089 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC (1:250–1:1,000) applications. DPABH-14089 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
