This product (Catalog No. DPABH-27613) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human SMARCD1. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with SMARCD1 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the SWI/SNF family of proteins, whose members display helicase and ATPase activities and which are thought to regulate transcription of certain genes by altering the chromatin structure around those genes. The encoded protein is part of the large ATP-dependent chromatin remodeling complex SNF/SWI and has sequence similarity to the yeast Swp73 protein. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. DPABH-27613 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application. DPABH-27613 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
