General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-16810) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human SLC6A8. It has been affinity purified by protein A. The protein encoded by this gene is a plasma membrane protein whose function is to transport creatine into and out of cells. Defects in this gene can result in X-linked creatine deficiency syndrome. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. DPABH-16810 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:3,000) application. DPABH-16810 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
