This product (Catalog No. DPABH-27072) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human SLC5A2. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with SLC5A2 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes a member of the sodium glucose cotransporter family which are sodium-dependent glucose transport proteins. The encoded protein is the major cotransporter involved in glucose reabsorption in the kidney. Mutations in this gene are associated with renal glucosuria. Two transcript variants, one protein-coding and one not, have been found for this gene. DPABH-27072 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC (1:50–1:200), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:50–1:200) applications. DPABH-27072 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.01% thimerosal, 50% glycerol, pH7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
