General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-21317) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human SLC41A2. It has been affinity purified by protein A. Solute carrier family 41 member 2 (SLC41A2) is a transmembrane protein that in human is encoded by SLC41A2 gene. SLC41A2 belongs to the solute carrier family 41 (SLC41), which is linked to Mg2+ transport in human cells. Like the other two family member (SLC41A1 and A3), SLC41A2 protein has distant homology to the prokaryotic Mg2+ transfer protein termed as MgtE. SLC41A2 protein is widely expressed in normal human tissues, including lymph nodes, lungs, stomach, testis, and skin with the highest expression level, followed by heart, intestine, spleen, kidneys and breast showing moderate expression.
DPABH-21317 is suitable for use in IHC (1:25–1:100) application.
DPABH-21317 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
