This product (Catalog No. DPABH-23345) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human SLC2A1. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. GLUT1 (glucose transporter type 1), encoded by the SLC2A1 gene located on chromosome 1p34.2, is a ubiquitously expressed facilitative transporter protein that mediates the passive, energy-independent diffusion of D-glucose across plasma membranes, playing a pivotal role in basal cellular glucose uptake and homeostasis, especially in barrier tissues such as the blood-brain barrier, placenta, and erythrocytes.
DPABH-23345 is suitable for use in ELISA (1:4,000–1:8,000), IHC (1:50–1:100), Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000) applications.
DPABH-23345 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M PBS, pH 7.4, 50% Glycerol, 0.05% Proclin 300. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
