General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-22378) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human SLC27A4. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with SLC27A4 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by protein A. This gene encodes a member of a family of fatty acid transport proteins, which are involved in translocation of long-chain fatty acids cross the plasma membrane. This protein is expressed at high levels on the apical side of mature enterocytes in the small intestine, and appears to be the principal fatty acid transporter in enterocytes. Clinical studies suggest this gene as a candidate gene for the insulin resistance syndrome. Mutations in this gene have been associated with ichthyosis prematurity syndrome. DPABH-22378 is suitable for use in IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500) application. DPABH-22378 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
