General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-17530) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human SLC25A21. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with SLC25A21 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. SLC25A21 is a homolog of the S. cerevisiae ODC proteins, mitochondrial carriers that transport C5-C7 oxodicarboxylates across inner mitochondrial membranes. One of the species transported by ODC is 2-oxoadipate, a common intermediate in the catabolism of lysine, tryptophan, and hydroxylysine in mammals. Within mitochondria, 2-oxoadipate is converted into acetyl-CoA.
DPABH-17530 is suitable for use in WB 1 (500-1:1000), IHC 1 (50-1:200), IF/ICC 1 (100-1:500) applications.
DPABH-17530 is supplied as a liquid formulation in Phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
