This product (Catalog No. DPABH-10668) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human SHF, targeting the amino acid region 1–184 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human SHF from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Src homology 2 domain containing F (SHF) is a protein encoded by the SHF gene in humans, located on chromosome 15q21.1, and characterized by a conserved Src homology 2 (SH2) domain that facilitates binding to phosphotyrosine residues on target proteins. This domain enables SHF to function as an adapter protein in intracellular signaling pathways, particularly those regulating apoptosis and cell survival, with ubiquitous expression across human tissues, enhanced in brain regions such as the cerebral cortex and cerebellum.
DPABH-10668 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000) application.
DPABH-10668 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
