General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-04213) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human SHANK1. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with SHANK1 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes a member of the SHANK (SH3 domain and ankyrin repeat containing) family of proteins. Members of this family act as scaffold proteins that are required for the development and function of neuronal synapses. Deletions in this gene may be associated with autism spectrum disorder in males. DPABH-04213 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:200–1:1,000) application. DPABH-04213 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
