This product (Catalog No. DPABH-11459) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human SETD6. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with SETD6 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes a methyltransferase that adds a methyl group to the histone H2AZ, which is involved in nuclear receptor-dependent transcription. The protein also interacts with several endogenous proteins which are involved in nuclear hormone receptor signaling. A related pseudogene is located on chromosome 2. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. DPABH-11459 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application. DPABH-11459 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
